why aren't skateboarders as cool now?

 need to get myself some badges for my jeans. 

 the sun's setting...

i caught up with the brilliant YES JESS blog, and discovered her featured beautiful photos of young skateboarders from the late 70's early 80's by Hugh Holland. 

seriously, why cant skater kids evoke this kinda cool now. 

mtv generation. shame.
