supercell storms.

 insane in the membrane.

it looks like a witches face!!

it looks like the UFO aircrafts when they land in 'Independence Day'!

Wikepedia define a Supercell storm as; "thunderstorm that is characterized by the presence of a mesocyclone; a deep, continuously-rotating updraft."

I'm obsessed with clouds, and this is pretty much porn for me. How amazing though.

Have been watching the brilliant BBC series 'Wonders of the Solar System' that is brilliantly presented by Brian Cox (previously of D:Dream fame) who makes particle physics, conservation of angular momentum and orbital resonance actually understandable. He also draws lots of diagrams in the sand.

I love him and science.

  2. Hi there,

I am a professional photographer and I also run photography courses and workshops in London, UK.

I just found your blog, excellent, very interesting and informative. I plan to visit America with a view to photograph tornadoes and other strange weather events (cells, etc.)

I was wondering if you can help with info on this matter, any help would be very much appreciated.

I am also looking for a partner to shadow me, someone who knows this kind of events properly,
My contact details are below including my websites:
