I was sad when Cy Twombly passed away this summer, but never got round to mentioning it. Being one of my favourite artists, and also an adorable old man whose worked spanned half a century, it developed but never changed from his hand writing.
His work is also similar by stroke, colour and movement as another of my favourite artists, Jean Michael Basquiat.
